I hope you all are having a GREAT Labor Day weekend with your family and friends!
I am WAY excited about this post because I made my first trip to LUSH!! For those of you
not familiar with Lush they are a cosmetic company that makes fresh organic products from
fruit and vegetables fresh by hand using little to no preservatives.
So, I have heard many great things about Lush from the beauty gurus and the closest store
from Alabama is Atlanta. So, I ventured over into the Georgia peach this weekend
and came back with some goodies to share with you! I ended up with 4 bath products
and 4 skincare/facial products. So, let's get started.
My Lush Bag
All my products! Aren't they pretty?!
This is called Ocean Salt and this is a face and body scrub.
Lush Description:
"We take the lime and the cocount plus grapefruit and sea salt and mix them together
in our stimulating, vodka based face scrub. For a complexion that glows.
This was the first product I decided on. The girl at the counter informed me this was
one of their bestsellers. She tested it on my hands and it smelled and felt great.
A small dab of this will go a long way.
Up close view of Ocean Salt. It is actually more blue in person
than this picture is showing. Pretty!
I got three facial masks. Like I said earlier these are super fresh. You have to keep
them refrigerated. You leave them on face for 5-10 min for best results.
This is the Brazened Honey Mask.
Lush Description:
"Stimulating Ayurvedic herbs and fresh fruit juices are blended together with
softening honey and ground almonds to polish skin that's in serious need of a boost.
This mask is called Ayesha.
Lush Description:
"Absorbent clays, nutrients, asparagus, vitamin rich fresh kiwi, as well as superbly
effective eiderflower all help to rejuvenate, relax, and refresh tired skin.
This smells so fresh and organic and salon like.
The last mask I got is called Love Lettuce. Sounds like of gross, right?
Really who wants to put lettuce on their face. Ha.
Lush Description:
"Polishing almond shell is balanced by the skin softening qualities of almond oil
and seaweed gel. With soothing lavender essential oil and the magical cleansing, tightening,
action of Fuller's Earth.
One thing Lush is known for is their bath products. I am always soaking up suds
in the bath tub so I was super excited to try some of their bath bombs and
bubble bars.
They all smell so yummy I literally have thought about biting into them!!! mmmm.
So, the cupcake looking thing above is a bath bomb called Mrs. Whippy.
It is a strawberry ice-cream bath tub dessert.
You place the whole piece in running bath water and it fizzes, smoothes and moisturizes.
Smells Yummy!
Bath Bomb in Twilight.
The scent is in Lavender and as you know Lavender is a scent that is used in
relaxing techniques.
Bath Bomb in Honey Bee.
Smells like Honey is a sweet yummy scent.
Honey naturally moisturizes and soothes and the water will turn caramel.
The last thing I picked up is called The Comforter.
This is a bubble bar and is intended for lots of bubbles. You actually break this off in pieces
for multiple uses.
Isn't it pretty?! Don't you just want to bite into it... well, imagine smelling it?!
It smells fruity and has blackcurrant in it.
So, there you have it peeps. A quick run down of all my Lush goodies. I will keep you
posted with reviews of how I am liking everything. :)
Happy Holiday Weekend.
Have a LUSHous Time!
