Product of the Day- Brush

I have found the most perfect brush to use for applying
cream blushes and highlighters.

THE. BEST.

And the best part about it.... it's flippin $3!!!!

I like using more cream products this time of the year for a more dewy finish
that looks fresh for spring. I have several cream and liquid highlighters and have been either
applying them with my fingers or a sponge. Not the worst application method, but after
finding the small stipple brush by e.l.f. my heart has been stolen.

If you have never owned a stipple brush you should. I have a larger stipple brush by
Real Techniques that I use for applying foundation. If you aren't familiar with the purpose
of a stipple brush it's basically to provide a soft, flawless, more natural finish. A buffing
brush that a lot use for buffing in foundation provides a bit more coverage, but the idea
of a stipple brush is that you get a more natural flawless finish.

The size of this small stipple brush is perfecto for highlighters b/c when highlighting you
are applying a product to a small concentrated area (typically the tops of your cheekbones.)
This brush allows so much control in where you are placing the product!

Love, Love, Love it! If you are into cream blushes or highlighters I would highly
recommend a trip to your local Target store!

Wednesday Wishes- Sigma Brushes

Hello Hello and Happy Hump Day!

Today's edition of Wednesday Wishes is brought to you by a cosmetic company,
Sigma who are known for their brushes. I don't own any of their brushes to date, but
have heard review after review after reveiw about how amazing they are.

There are a few specific's that I have had my eye on that I would love to
add to my collection.

First up is the F80. It is a flat top kabuki brush with synthetic bristles.
This brush is designed for buffing in liquid or cream foundation.

Retails for $18

Next up is the P80 which is basically the baby version of the brush above.
It is a small dense and flat top synthetic brush that is designed for concealer application.
I am most interested in this brush at the moment because I don't have a concealer brush. I've
heard that when applying concealer under eyes or on problem areas that if you just use
your finger to apply you can actually over blend and wipe the product away. So, this brush
is designed specifically for concealing and gives a light application to stipple on the
product and leave a good finish.

Retails for $16

The last is a group of brushes in the travel collection called Mrs. Bunny.
This is a collection of 7 travel size brushes from their best selling Essential set.
Basically, this set has every brush you could possibly need when on the go.
Kit includes:
Pencil, Tapered Blending, Eye Shading, Small Angle, Large Powder,
Large Angled Contour, and Foundation.

Aren't the colors sweet?! Love the soft pink and blue combo.

The other super cool deet about these brushes is that they come in this
innovative and functional container that turns into a brush holder to keep you
stylish and organized when traveling.

I really love this concept. We all know how digging for brushes and make up
out of a bag can be frustrating. So, how nice to have this cute little container to set on
the counter in bathroom hotel room or even at home. Makes things
so convenient.

Have you tried any Sigma brushes?

Real Technique Brushes by Samantha Chapman

Sam Chapman is a professional make up artist in England. Her and her sister Nic have a youtube channel that I am loving. They do lots of tutorials on getting celebrity make up looks along with many other informative and helpful tips.

I discovered over the past week that Sam was involved in creating this new line of brushes
that Ulta is carrying called Real Techniques. Sam uses her brushes in her videos and
I love the way they look. They are all color coded by eyes, base, and finish. I
think that is so cool and helpful... to have your brushed distinguished by color.

Sam Chapman. Pretty, Pretty girl.

Here is the set of eye shadow brushes. The set comes with 5 brushes and retails for $15.99
at Ulta. The set comes with Base brush, crease, accent, eyeliner, and brow.
All the eyeshadow brushes are this fun purple color and come in this case.
This is the Core Collection, retails for $15.99 and all your core brushes are this gold color as you can see. The set of brushes includes, Foundation, detailer, buffing, and contour.
Blush Brush, retails for $8.99. I love the pink! Such a cute brush.
The last brush I wanted to feature is the Stippling Brush for $9.99. I have never
owned a brush like this so I am excited to try this out. From what I can tell it's great for
liquid foundation, cream blushes, or highlighting cheek bones. Sounds fun!

I have not purchased any of these brushes, but will be very soon. I have been wanting/needing
new make up brushes and love the fact that I can buy brushes designed by a professional
make up artist that I love and respect. They are pretty affordable compared to other
professional brushes and I am so glad to get to support Sam!

Once I purchase these I will let you know how I am liking, but wanted to go ahead and
do a post on this b/c I got so excited and thought you might be interested. If you are in
the market for new brushes look into these.
